Maria (of the angels) - AUDIOBOOK (Part 1 of 2)
A 15-year-old deaf orphan, Maria has telepathic dreams that reveal a powerful religious leader committing demonic crimes. Her clairvoyance leads her on a careening course as those she views in her dreams discover that she’s watching them. And they know who she is. Now she must flee the school that has been her only home and the teacher who has been her only parent, into a world that holds either a grisly death at the claws of her pursuers or the hope offered by a young hero who stumbles into her life. Beyond the unspeakable darkness of the demons that chase her is the truth about her parents and the key to her future.
4.0 out of 5 stars Intriguing read!

Having met this author personally, and being familiar with her "dizzying intellect," I should not be surprised that there is a LOT going on here. At times, honestly, it's a bit much, but stick with it! Ultimately, the central character is a compelling one, and the many, varying narrative threads are pulled together in a colorful narrative tapestry. To appreciate this work one definitely needs a certain level of cultural/historical literacy, but hopefully the reader will be inspired to research the various references and allusions. I look forward to the forthcoming efforts of this author!

Sold in Parts
Please note that, due to Audio-file size constraints, this book must be sold in sections. You must purchase all the partitions to get the full work. But wait—this is no scam! Rest assured that, all the parts, combined, are sold for substantially less than they are from Amazon and Audible, where those sites take their pound of flesh from the author. This website is totally funded and constructed by Bethany. The only way she can provide her AudioBooks at the substantial price discount (up to 33%) is because no middle parties are taking their chunk. Bethany appreciates your patience in dealing with the partitioning but also believes that AudioBooks can (and should be) available for substantially less than the bigwigs charge. Consider this you and her "sticking it to da man" and reading at a more realistic price point! ;-)
