Turning Complexity into Clarity
My Learning Design Showcase
Here, I offer microlearning, storyboards, and training materials that bring clarity and measurable results to complex workflows. Built in Articulate Rise, Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and MS365, each piece demonstrates my philosophy that great learning starts with empathy and ends with adoption.

Career Highlights
Human-Centered Onboarding Curriculum
Challenge: To create learning for high-volume/-emotion, limited tech background frontline staff.
Action:
Mirrored actual workflow to reduce decision friction.
Chose blended training due to workflow complexity.
Prioritized high-risk workflows first.
Designed modular updates.
Results: 27% increase in Intake accuracy rate, 89% duplicate record reduction, 17% appointment scheduling efficiency growth, fewer support-ticket trends post-training.

Video: Training Facilitation Artifact
Challenge: To create a brief video to facilitate a practical skill.
Action:
Chose mastering the GRE/GMAT argument essay prompt.
Offered a template broken into bite-size steps.
Supplied real-world examples.
Results: Steady increase in practice-test essay scores.
Project Plan + Curriculum Map
Challenge: To create Create a curriculum map and an end-to-end ADDIE project plan for a 2-day training on Machine Learning Basics.
Action:
Outlined content and assessment development for Instructional Designers and Developers to script and develop learning content.
Chose Blended modality (VILT + self-paced + live activities).
Designed to mitigate risk through scenario-based learning emphasizing human
accountability and escalation.
Scaled to clearly defined role-based responsibilities throughout the training.
Results: 42% greater escalation efficiency.

SharePoint Governance Philosophy
Challenge: Disorganized and unused SharePoint resources.
Action: Designed an organization-wide protocol for SharePoint governance.
Results: 59% increase in SharePoint adoption.
Adult Learning for Non-Profit Employees
Challenge: To create learning on how to build a custom GPT, in a conversational style for a technically curious but non-developer audience.
Action:
Break complex steps into numbered actions and add screenshots to visually anchor learners.
Make the process relatable by choosing a charity that depends on grants, so it demonstrates how I approach the organization’s GMS.
Balance accuracy with approachability, avoiding jargon, while still noting advanced options (links, wording, customizations) for those who want more.
Results: 27% increase in adoption rate and 52% drop in support tickets.

Intensive-Season Microlearning to Speed Ramp-Up for Contract Employees
(Redacted to preserve client intellectual property.)
Challenge: In Articulate Rise, craft an e-learning mini-course to speed ramp-up for seasonal contract employee onboarding during busy ‘blizzard’ seasons.
Action:
Use text and visuals to explain the process for quick absorption.
Generate interactivity with elements like flip cards and knowledge checks.
Gamify via a labeled graphic of the claims intake screen, with learners navigating a branching scenario to apply knowledge in real situations.
Results: 32% decrease in ramp-up time; 17% increase in customer NPS satisfaction.
Online Help/OnDemand Training
Challenge: To demystify intimidating application and standardized test tasks and concepts.
Action:
Create a database of templated resources to address stressors, reframe challenges in an achievable light, and offer actionable steps to inspire balance.
Employ empathy-based scenarios to speed adoption of strategies.
Emphasize clarity, honesty, and storytelling—core principles that align with accessibility and trust.
Use simple visuals to ground abstract concepts for visual and kinesthetic learners.
Construct frameworks to help learners succeed via structured, repeatable steps, making complex tasks approachable, logical, user-friendly, and sustainable.
Impact: Learners not only understood the material but trusted the process to a 97% NPS rec rate sustained YOY.
Technical/SaaS Learning & Release Note
(Redacted to preserve client intellectual property.)
Challenge: Client wanted few (if any) screen illustrations in order to not disclose proprietary visuals on a publicly-visible webpage, so I had to find ways to use language to deliver clarity and trust.
Action:
Translate product details into plain-language instructions for frontline users.
Where requirements were open-ended, I make assumptions about common pain points (such as lost pass-downs) and frame the feature as the solution.
Employ standard Help Center conventions—clear headings, step-by-step lists, and “what if something goes wrong” notes—to support quick scanning.
Concise, approachable, and non-technical tone, consistent with client’s style.
Impact: Users rated help tools at 93% NPS satisfaction rate, boosting revenue 18%.
